Hi sclexman, Thanks for the thoughts. I built multiple machines using Iomega Zip and Jaz drives with Windows XP. Windows XP on install (with SP3) has good drivers for Adaptec 2940 SCSI controllers and drivers for JAZ, ZIP, and multiple other vendoe CD and CD/RW drives including Toshiba and Yamaha drives.
